Abstract
This research is purposed to reveal the contribution of experience prakerin and vocational competence on industry 's readiness to enter the workforce students of computer techniques and network proram class XII in SMK N 2 Padang Panjang. This research is a descriptive correlational . The study population numbered 100 people and sample totaled 50 students of class XII computer techniques and network program in SMK N 2 Padang Panjang Academic Year 2012/2013 . Technique of random sampling (Simple random sampling). Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation and multiple correlation for analysis . The results of data analysis showed : 1) experience prakerin to contribute 22.15 % of the student readiness to eter the workface industry, 2) vocational competence contributed 22.98 % to the readiness to eter the workface industry , 3 ) How to experience prakerin and vocational competence jointly contributed 34.94 % of industry 's readiness to enter the workforce students of computer techniques and network proram class XII in SMK N 2 Padang Panjang. The results of this study indicate that the experience prakerin and vocational competence contribute to readiness to enter the workface industry.
