Abstract 

At the National Junior Bantul, needed a medium of learning that can help learners to learn extracurricular Japanese Hiragana and Katakana Font easily and happily Because high difficulty level, the instructional media should be easily memorized and interesting. Instructional media presents the material in the form of letter writing Japanese, including hiragana and katakana, using design frame by frame so that the material presented in stages. Besides, the format presentation of the concept are tutorials and drill and practice. This media also visualization (pictures and animation) and sound interesting to add to the understanding of the concept. It is intended that the children can gradually develop the capacity to think and easier to memorize. Based on the evaluation and analysis of the results of instructional media, we concluded that this computer aided learning media favored children who want to learn hiragana and katakana Japanese characters, because it provides an attractive appearance and delivery of material that is easy to understand and memorize.

Pendahuluan 

Bahasa jepang adalah bahasa yang cukup sulit untuk dipelajari, karena tidak hanya pelafalannya saja, namun tulisannya juga harus dapat dikuasai. Tulisan yang berupa huruf-huruf Hiragana dan Katakana adalah huruf yang harus dihafal cara penulisan dan pengucapan yang benar.
