ABSTRAK - One of the subject that must be taken by the informatics Engineering of Tanjungpura University student is the Internship Program. Internship program allows students to apply the knowledge that has been gained in lectures to the environmental community. To be able to do practicum the students must register and submit the internship program petition. If the internship program petition is approved, students can start doing their internship work. At the time of the internship of guidance, tutoring students and lecturers are usually done with face-to-face process. These methods are rather effective but still have the constraints of time and place.On the implementation of internship program, all processes from initial registration, guidance and seminars is one interconnected process. Webbased online information system will be needed to be able to connect all the processes in the practicum so that it would provide more ease and convenience for students, faculty and staff to access the information of internship program. Therefore, web-based designed that using online information system, which can be an alternative at the time of the internship guidance. In addition to the guidance, the system also provides the feature to register the internship program and internship seminar so students can sign up from anywhere and anytime. The Registration Data can also be directly accessed by the staff of Informatics Engineering. Another feature that provide in webbased information service of monitoring and registration system are SMS Gateway which is useful to send a warning message if students and lecturers have not taken the guidance of more than 7 days. With the establishment of the registration and monitoring system of internship program, guidance process not only can be done by meeting directly but can also be done with the guidance online through the system.

Salah satu teknologi yang dimanfaatkan yaitu sistem informasi. Sistem informasi adalah sistem buatan manusia yang berisi himpunan terintegrasi dari komponen-komponen manual dan komponen-komponen terkomputerisasi yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data memproses data dan menghasilkan informasi untuk pemakai (Lani Sidharta, 1995).
