JURNAL: MEMBANGUN WEBSITE SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 MUNTILAN BERBASIS E-LEARNING SEBAGAI SARANA INFORMASI DAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

The purpose of this final project is to analyze the system and designing a Webbased application of the SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan order to assist in the process of teaching and learning activities (KBM). With the application of E-learning web based on SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan, is expected to help the problems faced by teachers and students outside class hours, such as lack of communication between teachers and students, the search for information about the material being taught, and certainly good for teachers to provide teaching materials to students. The method used in the writing of this paper consists of two main parts, namely the method of analysis and design methods. Systems analysis performed with four stages, ie (1) Survey on the current system, (2) an analysis of survey findings, (3) identify information needs, and (4) identification of system requirements. The method used in the design is based on object oriented design methodology through the stages (1) making UML, (2) development of database design, and (3) development of display design. The results achieved are the availability of applications supporting teaching and learning activities that can be accessed without attachment to time and place. Conclusion with a web-based E-learning is easy communication teachers and students, giving lessons, facilitate the collection of duties and tasks, and simplify the piping value.

Pendahuluan

Web atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah internet merupakan salah satu media penyaji informasi yang sangat populer di era sekarang ini, dengan segala keunggulanya, memungkinkan informasi dapat didistribusikan secara cepat, tepatdan dapat diakses secara mengglobal. Sehingga pendistribusian informasi dengan sistem ini cenderung lebih murah efektif dan efisien dari pada melalui media cetak ataupun media elektronik lainya. Sekolah memiliki informasi yang tersimpan baik dalam bentuk fisik seperti materi - materi, paper maupun dalam bentuk digital seperti e-book dalam jumlah yang sangat banyak dan saat ini belum terorganisir dengan baik. Beberapa organisasi telah menyadari pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya sekolah, namun pengorganisasiannya masih tertutup dalam artian hanya untuk kalangan sendiri.
